ifm efector (IE) We use promotional products to help strengthen our brand in the marketplace and build customer relationships. Giving customers a useful ifm branded item helps keep our brand in front of customers, a competitive advantage and exposure in the marketplace.

KP: How does promotional product help you being recognised in market place?
IE: A quality ifm branded promotional product helps strengthen our brand recognition within the market place as it familiarises customers and other prospects about our organisation through the use of promotional product. Using promotional product is a highly effective marketing tool in building customer relationships and gaining exposure within the market place.

KP: Do you use the promotional products for other purpose other than marketing tools?
IE: Yes, we have used promotional products as gifts for employees. We have provided our sales engineers with jackets with our company logo as part of their Christmas present. They were so popular the first time so we did it again 3 years later. This not only is an effective marketing tool for our organisation but also a benefit to our employees by encouraging a convenient wardrobe option.

Sun Earth started in 1966 as a semiconductor manufacture and then moved to making photovoltaic materials in 1972 and manufactured the first ever solar panel in china in 1978. Today, Sun Earth manufactures solar panels and distributes them all over the world, from China, Germany, USA, Africa, South America and Australia.  Sun Earth serves purely renewable energy industry, in specific to Wholesale and Retail solar companies.

Kiss Promotions [KP] - Could you please briefly tell us about UWS – Student Central history? How it started or the idea behind it?  
UWS - Student Central [UWS-SC] University of Western Sydney (UWS) is a major urban university spread over six campuses in Greater Western Sydney, a region of great opportunity, diversity, challenge and growth.  The University is culturally diverse, with over 2000 staff and about 35 000 students drawn from Australia and around the world. [KP] What is the main role of Student Central within UWS?  Who are your customers?
[UWS-SC] Student Central is the primary point of contact for students, staff and general community for and on behalf of the University as a whole and more specifically in student administration.  Student Central offices are located in Parramatta, Bankstown, Campbelltown, Penrith & Hawkesbury.  Student Central assists with face-to-face enquiries, over the phone and email correspondence.  Student Central is the main information provider and handled over 310,000 enquiries and transactions in 2010.
 
[KP] Why do you use Promotional products ?
[UWS-SC] We used the promotional products as part of the launch of the new visual identity and re-branding of Student Central in April  2010.  The promotional products were provided as gifts to our invited guests.  Subsequent to the launch, Student Central participates in the University’s student-focused events to promote Student Central to commencing students.  
 
[KP] How was your experience dealing with Kiss Promotions?
[UWS-SC] Our experience with Kiss Promotions has been positive, service is great and prices are competitive.  They were able to deliver the goods on time and within the budget that we had.

[Kiss Promotions - KP] Why do you use promotional products (in your case is printed plastic bags)? 
[Kurrajong Kitchen - KK] We used our bags for the Sydney Royal Easter Show as a branding of our products that customers purchased. Also these bags are going to be used for all of our consumer shows allowing for our products to be remembered after they have been consumed

[KP] How does promotional product help you being recognized in market place? 
[KK] Being a large print of our logo and blue stripes that make up Kurrajong Kitchen retail packaging this will help people recognise our products on the shelf.

[KP] Do you use the promotional products for other purpose other than marketing tools? (ie:  for employee retention, safety campaigns, brand awareness. Gift with purchase, customer loyalty)  Do you have any interesting story to share?
[KK] At the moment we use them mainly for marketing tools, but are always looking at other promotional products for gifts to our customers. A few years ago now we used Tins as a giveaway to our customers for a thankyou gift - no price hike on the shelf to get this just a genuine gift. This was about 4-5 years ago and still we have people coming up to us a shows and via email wanting to know when the next tins are coming out. 

[KP] How was your experience dealing with Kiss Promotions? 
[KK] Kiss promotions is a very easy company to work with.No matter how many times we changed our minds on our bags it was never too much of an ask. In the end we got a quality product at a competitive price.

[KP] Could you please briefly tell us about your department?
[MU] Our department, Office of Future Students (Onshore) team provides an extensive range of services to a diverse range of potential Monash students. This includes provision of course information and publications and the coordination of many events and programs aimed at introducing prospective students to the University. The office also administers Monash Extension for high achieving Year 12 students.
The Office of Future students (Onshore) office is involved in the co-ordination of University wide postgraduate student recruitment activities. Agent Liaison across New Zealand is also a key aspect of this office.

[KP] What do you specialise in?
[MU] Our team in particular looks after the Monash Extension for high achieving year 12 students. Monash Extension (formerly the Monash Enhancement Studies Program) allows high achieving Year 12 students to get a taste of uni before finishing school – and be rewarded for it. Students complete a pair of first year university subjects as part of their final year school studies, allowing them to extend and enhance their learning in an area of interest. After completing the program, students will receive an increment towards their Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR). Another benefit of doing this program is that students will gain university credit, get an early taste of University life, meet like minded students, and also students will receive an academic award at the end of the year.

[KP] Why do you use Promotional products?
[MU]
Our department in particular is in charge in organising over 45 key Monash events per year, including At Monash seminars,Teacher Professional Development Day sessions, Change of Preference, Information Evenings,  Orientation Day, Leadership Day, and also Graduation Evening for our Monash Extension students. The promotional products were mainly used as gifts to those events, and some promotional products such as banners are regularly used in our career expos, open days, and as a display to attract our guests in they key events held throughout the year.
